How big is the town of Springfield in The Simpsons?

The characters in The Simpsons keep saying Springfield is a small town that no one's heard of. But for a small town, it has it's own nuclear power plant, TV studio and city hall.

What is a VPN?

VPN is (Virtual Private Network) were first used by companies to enable their employees to securely access internal systems such as email remotely (e.g. from home or while on business trips).
